I still have no idea what color this is.... Chocolate covered cherry or smoky gray tinged burgundy? It is classy without being stuffy. And my bottle floated on like a dream. I have come to adore creams since discovering RBL, and this is one that I can say with practice can be a one coater. Love!!

I remember wearing only black or red or some crazy color on my nails in high school. Colors like this make me feel like a lady but still a bit edgy and dark. It's beautiful!

It’s no secret for anyone who knows me that I'm vampy nail polsih lover - anything from black, brown, dark purples, dark reds, dark greens and blues goes with me. People at work got used to me :D But this is my favorite nail polish - it’s my go to vampy color. It’s so unique, it’s not black, it’s not dark purple - it’s both. It has that gorgeous muted feel to it. Application - I’m in heaven!! Actually could be one-coater for me - but I always do two thin layers and I’m ready! Love, love, love...

When I saw this polish online I added it in my order half heartedly. And when I got my package, my jaw dropped. It's AMAZING! It's a perfect creamy dark purple/brown, I am not sure how to describe the color exactly, because it changes all the time as you move your fingers. I got more compliments on this nail polish than any other polish I own in my 500+ bottle collection.

I've been waiting on Recherche (And the rest of the spring colors) since Ji debuted it on karlasugar and ALU. They showered praises on the color! the application! so when the polish reached my nails you can imagine how high the bar was. It's on my toes now and I feel like they just spent the night eating really good chocolate. My weary feet is appeased. :)

I love this color!!! It applied like a dream. It looks dark brown chocolaty, black and even eggplant purple depending on the light. I got several compliments wearing this yesterday as I was running errands. I highly recommend trying this one!!! Another fabulous polish from RBL!!!
