It may seem like a useless step, especially when you put it on and it evaporates so quickly, but I tell you...it makes ALL the difference. The treatment system is amazing... I can get at least one full week (usually MORE!) out of my manicures when I use it. I've tried going without this step, and while it still lasts a few days with just the basecoat and top coat, it seriously lasts longer when you prep it.
The only reason I'm giving it only 4 stars....I find the brush a little on the tiny side. It's like all the strands are stuck together, so it doesn't fan out on your nail like a brush should. That makes it a little more time consuming.

I'm not sure if it's the prep, the base coat, or the combination, but when you use them together, your polish LASTS. I have also tried it with other less expensive polishes, and it makes a difference for them too. If you're like me and chip your nail polish the day after you apply it, try these products. It WILL make a difference.

I wasn't sure what to think of this at first. It does evaporate and look like it didn't do anything. But seeing the difference in the wear of my nail polish, I'm going to have to say that it does make a good difference. As far as I can tell it just makes sure your nail is clean. I could be wrong, but I like it :D

This Base Coat Prep is kooky but I love it. It feels like you paint NOTHING onto your nail because it evaporates/dries so quickly. Four stars for the entertainment (plus, I'm sure it DOES help in some way), one star off because others might think it obsolete.
