Insouciant
Insouciant

This is the toned-down dusty gray lilac of a pressed corsage. Punked out rather than pastel with the faintest hint of shimmer.

This color is very dynamic and will look different in different lighting situations (and in the bottle). We have supplied some more examples of photographs of the color in the links below.

Very unique violet shade that's extremely wearable. The blue shimmer catches the light and it's a beautiful sight!

I am new to Rescue Beauty and saw this wonderful color online. A week later I came back to place my order only to find this color SOLD OUT!! are you kidding me!?!?!? I placed order without this color but inquired on availability. No go. But I was able to track it down via Ebay. Thank goodness for Ebay. I love this color!! My hairdresser and two other customers were asking about it yesterday. PLEASE BRING BACK this color!!!! Insouciant is a beautiful color for my pale, fair skin. Being on active duty in the Air Force we are limited on the colors we can wear. I have found my perfect match in this color. I need more. Please, please bring it back.

This has become my go to color when I'm not sure which color to wear. Indoors it goes back and forth between lavender and grayish. The shimmer comes out in sunlight. Blue and pink shimmers are a lovely surprise!

I have cool toned pale skin and it's like this color was created just for me. I loved it on the computer screen, loved it in the bottle, and was blown away when I put it on. I had random male co-workers tellng me what a great color it was. Every lighting situation makes Insouciant a different color. Amazing shimmer in the sunlight! I honestly couldn't stop looking at my hands while wearing this. *LOVE*

So in love with this polish. You really cannot appreciate it until you see it on your hands! It is just that perfect balance of lilac and greige. I will be getting alot of wear out of this bottle....

I find Insouciant much more wearable than your typical Spring lavendar pastel polish. Yes, it's darker, making it more versatile - more posh and elegant. The subtle blue flash gives this dusky "griolet" an unpretentious glow. Under certain lighting, the blue sparkle seems deep within the base, and other times, it feels like it's floating above the surface. I'd love to see more RBLs with this type of shimmer. Job well done :)

Insouciant is a greyed out lavender reminiscent of old lavender from the Victorian era. Not too dark, nor a pastel, this is solidly a midtone shade. There's an understated elegance about this neutral on my brown skin that feels both understated and hard to pinpoint. It looks like a creme under most lighting but in the sunlight it flashes blue and pink which deepens the shade and keeps my interest. It went on in two easy coats. I love it.

I was initially drawn to this polish for the color - it really is a unique shade, even if you think you have a lavender like it in your collection. It's a great, smoky color, perfect for spring in that it's cool enough to wear with almost anything. I also adore this polish - it took me one (admittedly heavy) coat to get opaque coverage and it dried hard in under 10 minutes, in time for me to go to the gym with no smudges. Love love love!

This color is just gorgeous! It is a grayed out lavender with subtle shimmer. It's such a contemporary yet classic color. I absolutely love it and have received several compliments while wearing it. The wear, like all Rescue Beauty polishes, is amazing. I can wear them for a full week with no chips!
