When I first put this on, I thought it was a little boring. However, after wearing it for a couple hours I started to notice subtle hints of pink and lavender that really made the cafe au lait base stand out. Now it is one of my absolute favorites! I always stare at my nails when wearing this and feel sophisticated. Love it!!

Grunge is a uniquely lovely shade of taupe. There are polishes that are similar, but none that I've found with Grunge's range of undertones. Application is wonderful, and so far it's stayed shiny longer than most of the polishes I've tried. SO glad that this is a core color! I couldn't bear to ever have to go without it.

I would not call this color Grunge. Too pretty for that. A more appropriate name would be: Chic, Glamorous, Sophisticated,..... Something along those lines. I would also not describe as a pinkish grey with a dash of lilac. Might be the colors used to make this color but it totally comes off as a beigey, pink. BUT it is the perfect nude color for my pale skin. I keep looking at my hands and thinking, "WOW, they really look elegant!". Maybe Elegant would be the name for this color. Either way, if you have pale, fair skin, this is THE color for you if you want something that screams Elegant.

Grunge is a pretty pinkish-brown that is fashion-forward yet muted enough for the most conservative office or gathering. It makes your nails look professional and beautiful yet does not command unnecessary attention. This color is pretty for brown girls but for me personally it is a bit boring. Grunge is like Pile's 'nerdy sister'. Plie has more of a pink edge that I like.
As with all RBL polishes, the formula is top notch. I got opaque coverage in one coat but I prefer two. No streaking and definitely not 'watery'.
