I had a pedicure done with this color today and I literally squealed with happiness when I saw how awesome my toes looked. This is one of my faves by far.

I love reading up on Tudor history, and Anne Boleyn happens to be one of my favorite female historical figures, so I was delighted to have the chance to purchase a polish she inspired! RBL's Anne is a deep dark, almost blackened olive green with delicate pink and gold iridescence (the official description is spot-on!). Ji has explained that the four "queen" polishes were inspired by brocade fabric from the Tudor era, and thankfully, the execution was spot-on -- Anne really does look like thick, luxurious, and expensive fabric, such as that used to make royal gowns hundreds of years ago. And the colors of RBL's Anne fit Anne Boleyn's character -- sexy, mysterious, ambitious, and strong-willed -- perfectly. An absolute winner!

Seriously. Seriously! Anne is breathtaking. She is full of depth and unexpected flashes of shimmer whenever I move my hands. Literally could not stop staring at my nails whenever I was wearing this, and got so many compliments! If you're on the fence.. just don't be. You need Anne in your life.

I just received my Anne in the mail this past weekend in it's lovely limited edition RED box - that's fabulous by itself!
I did my nails Sunday night and I love that the pink glitter in the polish gives just a hint of girlishness in a rather deep olive green shade. I also love the golden sheen the shade gives.
I am soooo happy I was able to pick this up a second time around!!

This is one of my few "It colours" - that is, it just looks 'right' on my nail with my medium-Caucasian skin colour. It's so gorgeous and unusual. And two thick coats were enough for opacity for me, without any bubbles. Thanks Ji!

I am a preschool teacher so keeping polish on my nails is difficult. However after reading rave review on the polishes I purchased this gorgeous color. I cannot keep it on my nails more than 3 days. However it stays on my toes for weeks. I will try it again with her treatment system, when it becomes available again.

I love this color! Right now, in indirect natural light indoors, this polish looks deep olive-green lightened with a subtle metallic shimmer. When I applied it last night, in fluorescent light, it was a dark pewter gray with pink and gold shimmer... but once I put on a top coat the pink virtually disappeared! I looked at my nails in bright sunlight this morning and the shimmer caught the light like micro-glitter but the pink was almost non-existent; I had to really look to find it. My advice is to NOT use a topcoat with this color! Formula was great, but as with all of my RBL polishes I needed 3 coats for full opacity.

Anne is it. I hate green polishes. Hate them. But Anne is different. The shimmer is out of control beautiful, and it wears like iron. The polish itself reads green, gray, and mushroomy brown with incredible sparkle. You all need this one.

I didn't know that I could love a green nail polish, but Anne is exquisite! Unique is an understatement. Yes, it's olive and dark, but in my eyes, it sometimes looks almost gun-metal grey or deep pewter under certain lights and angles. The shine is amazing and like others have said, the shimmer adds depth and gives the base a pretty-factor in a color that by itself could look "swampy." The lacquer went on kinda thick, but it made application precise and not at all messy. If you normally don't go for bright greens, try Anne - she's in a league of her own!
