Dead Calm.. just like your name, you are so calming. With your perfect 1 coat application, your fabulous deep blue (never black) color.. If you are on the fence about this, don't be! Seriously, do not pass it up, chances are you will regret it when it sells out!

this shade of blue makes the transition from summer to fall so much easier. very classy and not so boring. it goes well with my medium skin tone. one coat is very pigmented that you can get away with it's opacity. my first RBL polish and I'm very impressed! thanks for the speedy shipping too!

I've been searching for a perfect navy/just-a-little-darker-than-royal blue and have found it in Dead Calm. It definitely doesn't look black indoors, it's clearly blue. Inside it appears as a clear navy while outside or in direct light is shines as a blue creme. It does stain, but most beautiful blue polishes stain. It will not keep me from wearing Dead Calm, however!

I've been wanting this perfect dark-blue shade in a bottle since I saw swatches on Temptalia. This is a rich dark blue shade that looks Navy but teeters on the edge of black but never falls overboard. It's the perfect shade for a gal like me who has cool undertones and doesn't like black polish. It is also chic enough to wear with your classiest outfit yet not so obvious that it isn't 'office appropriate'.
Opaque in one shade and goes on practically by itself. I go for two coats because I can't get enough of how gorgeous this shade is. Wears beautifully and I had minimal wear at the tips. Used the treatment system for a flawless mani.

I specifically got this color to go with a couple dresses I have for the summer. It really is the perfect dark blue. My one reason for not giving it five stars was the removal. It's so pigmented that blue just went everywhere and stained my nails. I think in the future I will use a thick base coat and wear a glove while removing so my fingertips won't be stained through the cotton.

This is hands down, the most perfect deep blue. Fantastic pigmentation and so easy to apply for being a dark color. My hubby requested that I wear this color...I originally hesitated because it's already beach weather in Sunny Florida, but it doesn't matter...dark or not, it's perfect any time. I felt very "marine-y" at the beach, and it was classy enough to wear to a fancy restaurant.
I love randomly hearing, "Your nails really do look pretty" from my hubby :)

I had an absolutely horrid day, complete with a panic attack. I came home and decided to unwind with a mani and pedi. From the very first stroke of polish on my thumb, I was immediately relieved. Everytime I glance at my nails, I have an overwhelming sense of relief. A must have!

Dead Calm truly is perfection! Since I couldn't sleep late one Friday night, I decided I would put on base coat and one coat of colour before bed and then do the second coat and top coat in the morning before brunch with a friend. I was so amazed to discover that it was literally perfect in just one coat! I've NEVER thought one coat was enough before (and I've used a LOT of polish). Dead Calm applies so smoothly and evenly and the colour is super pigmented, with no streaks at all. Just remember to be careful when applying this colour - it definitely creates "smurf fingers" if you're not! Love it so much, thank you RBL!

First off, I'm not usually a creme kind of girl. Looking at my collection, it's full of shimmers and glitters but I saw swatches of this blue and had to get it. I've bought other RBL polishes before but I was thrilled to see that this really was a one coat nail polish. It took just ONE coat for lovely glossy streak free nails. I wish all nail polishes applied like this and would gladly purchase again. Thanks so much for having the sale so I could try out colors I never would have bought otherwise!
