Deep dark inky blue, but the light blue shimmer takes it to another level of awesome. Insanely pigmented, nearly opaque in one light coat. I got this a long time ago and it got lost in the mix and I put it on for the first time. Never again will I go that long without using it.

Under the Stars is sexy in a bottle! I'm a huge lover of vampy/deep polishes, and what sets this apart is that it's vampy, sultry, but forces me away from your typical "charcoal/black" & onto something more unconventional and more unique! I have 1000+ polishes, and this is in my top 10 big time! A rich sultry deep blue infiltrated with micro-glitter, that falls within the "vamp" guidelines but remains unique. I've never seen anything as stunning, and when I wear it, my eyes just continually gravitate to the goodness on my nails. Absolutely gorgeous, application is mindless and perfect, it's just a bottle of beauty! Absolutely love Under the Stars!

I love love love this color!! It is so pretty once you put it on, but as soon as you change lighting sources - is that silver glitter? Wait, blue too?? This is like having 3 polishes in one - indoor, outdoor and fluro lighting all make this shade slightly different. I am in love....

I love this color! I love it just as much as black Russian. Indoors, it's a deep navy blue with little blue twinkles and in sunlight, the blue shimmer comes alive. I can't stop admiring it!

Wow! Can I say it again? WOW!! Immediately after receiving this in the mail, I swatched it on a nail and took off my current polish to replace it with this!! I was skeptical and on-the-fence, quite honestly, about ordering this one given all the other reviews, but went for it and I am NOT disappointed. Sure, it's dark and almost black, but when the light catches those bits of glitter, it's a lovely surprise on your fingertips. This will likely be the first bottle of RBL that garners it's own back-up for me!

I wish that I could give Under the Stars a higher review, but this color did not WOW me the way other RBL's have. The application was the thickest that I've had compared to many others = and it chipped the next day. It's so dark blue that it's almost black. I wish that it was a little more jelly-like so that I could appreciate the "stars" more. Yes, the micro shimmer in this polish is the true star, but the base covered most of it. I don't wear black polish, but UNS comes close. I wish it was bluer. Oh well, a girl can wish >';'< When I need a deep blue fix, I'll be sure to grab Dead Calm instead.

it applied amazingly and the color has this great glowing from within look that makes you think of stars or a really really good custom paint job on a nice car

I love dark vampy polishes. I love glitter vampy polishes even more. However, with the amount of glitter in this polish it sure isn't a dark vampy glitter polish, just a regular vampy polish. If it wasn't for the fantastic formula of Rebel nail colors it'd be just another dark blue. The micro glitter does lend some great shine to my nails though.

Kind of a cloudy night, 10.14.2010

This color is pretty, but not exactly what I was expecting. In the bottle, the bright blue glitter is very prominent, making the polish look like a brilliant galaxy. On the nail, the glitter takes a backseat...hence the title. This polish resembles the stars on a very cloudy night. From arms' length, this is just a regular navy blue nail polish...only close up can you see the bits of glimmering blue. And when I say close up, I mean you have to shove your nails in people's faces for them to see it. The formula is great, as always, but I wanted more of a POP from this polish. I've only been wearing it for a day but I think I'm going to switch to something else tonight.
