This was my very 1st purchase of RBL polish, and I've gotta say, you definately have me hooked. The application was a dream, 2 coats for beautiful coverage and my pedi lasted 2 weeks no problem. This color is gorgeous!! I can't tell you how many times I was aked what I was wearing and of course I told them, how couldn't I? This can't be kept as a secret, women everywhere need to experience RBL polishes! Thanks Ji!!

Very similar to OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark. It's a blackened plum that is just sultry, vampy and mysterious. The 1st coat does streak a bit, 2nd coat evens it out beautifully. I'm all about the rich vampy shades, so this was a must have for me. While it's not entirely unique color wise, it's one of my most loved vampy shades and wears exceptionally well.. Overall, total love!

This color brings out my closeted goth tendencies without being over the top about it. For that reason alone, 3 stars. Unfortunately, I must have gotten a bad bottle. I'm pretty good at applying nail polish, but this formula gave me a ton of trouble, which is disappointing considering how much it costs. It was streaky and goopy and was a mess to apply. Despite using a fast dry top coat as well as fast drying drops that I've always had excellent results with and waiting a few hours, my nails still smudged like crazy and I had to start over. The second time, I added a couple drops of thinning drops to the polish, which made the formula go on a bit more smoothly, but I still found it difficult to work with.

I had to get this after Ji announced that stock was running low, and I'm glad I did! It has a jelly like finish and seems as close as you can get to black, but is still clearly not black. It reminds me of the show True Blood. Something the vampire queen might wear :)

Physically impossible, I know, but this is the impression this polish gives: deep and dark and very very glossy.

Film Noir is dramatic and sophisticated. It doesn't look black even when indoors. Long lasting - stayed on for seven days without chips!

This is the color I chose for my weekly mani. Halloween is this weekend so I was feeling dark and moody but did not want to do the standard black. All I can say is (as always) RBL polishes are second to NONE! The application was smooth and completely opaque in two coats. It's chic and elegant and it makes me feel uber-stylish. FILM NOIR = L-O-V-E!!!!!!!!!!

The application was flawless and the dry time good, but at first glance I thought it looked way too much like black. Then saw it in more light and was blown away. This is a beautiful, deep burgundy color. I got so many compliments on this, even my mom wanted to try it!

I was hoping for a deep purple black polish. But with two coats, this is a deep dark burgundy color. I would probably need three coats to make this close to black. I did not find the application as smooth as other Rescue Beauty polishes.
