Much darker than I expected and I also ordered in December and received in April. I do think this was a bad batch, and this experience of waiting so long only to be disappointed by what I received really makes me think I may not buy RBL polishes again.

I just ordered this last week (and received it in record time) and I absolutely love the color! I chose this color after seeing the swatch of it on www.alllacqueredup.com, which is very accurate.

I am quite disappointed by this color. I have been wanting to buy it forever, but I finally took to the plunge during the December sale. After waiting forever for the color to ship, I was beyond exited when I finally applied it. I took it off the same day. It is an okay color, but not what the reviews indicate. The batch must have been messed up. I wish you would correct this mistake, Ji.

I see in earlier posts Teal is described as looking like a "jewel" and "does not look black." In later posts, we all seem to think it looks almost black with no strong teal color. Bad batch? I like it for a smoggy, dark stone colored polish and will wear it happily as an alternative to black or dark gray. However, I still want that gorgeous teal color I was hoping for. After waiting almost 4 months for this backordered color, I have mixed emotions. I feel like I got a good color but not the color I ordered. Nice application, too.

Hi, it's another person who got this color recently and was disappointed. This has got to be a bad batch (at least I hope) because it really is not teal like in this picture or any other picture I've found online. It's *dark* almost black. Not good.

So nervous that this color might be discontinued! It's fantastic - a true deep teal that is sophisticated and chic. A perfect choice for fall/winter, though I may go for it again this summer when I'm tired of brights and pastels.

Guess I'm not alone in thinking this was off. It's so much darker than any pictures I've seen online and it took way too long to dry. Love other RBL polishes - wearing Starfish Patrick right now - but this one is a letdown.

I too ordered this as part of the sale in last December and received it in March. I have been so happy with my other RBL polishes that I just figured the seemingly darkened tone of my Teal polish had to be me. Alas, it seems I wasn't the only one who felt like her Teal wasn't just a season late, but "off" too.
Apart from the color, the polish is otherwise RBL quality - great consistency and nearly one coat (though I always do two).

I ordered this polish on December 15th and received it at the end of March. Yes, I waited 3.5 months for it on back-order. Funny enough, I was charged for it in December, too, even though it wouldn't ship for months. By February, after the estimated ship time kept getting pushed back, I e-mailed RBL to ask if I could switch to a different color, especially since spring was coming and teal isn't exactly a spring/summer shade. "Orders cannot be changed," I was told. Fine.
Anyway, teal finally arrived and I was looking forward to the color, but it looked incredibly dark in the bottle. Figured it *must* look better on my nails; no. It's really dark, looks nearly black unless I look at it under bright light, in which case it's a blackened teal. Disappointed for sure.
