Use A White Base- It's Worth It, 1.25.2010

This is such a beautiful watery color with a jelly finish. The secret is to use an opaque white cream nail polish first underneath and then layer this on top. It really brings out the color and keeps the watery effect. There's no other like it.

I really liked this color and thought it was a unique blue, but the consistency is so water like that it takes like 4 or 5 coats to get it to be the color in the bottle. If this color was more opaque I would give it 5 stars.

I was looking for a Tiffany blue to bathe my nails and toes in and this color almost hit it on the head. 3 coates to an almost transparent robins egg blue, 1 more probably would have given me closer to the color I wanted but didn't want 4 coats of polish on my toes...too long to dry. I just wish it were a little brighter but as for polishes go, this brand is always tops!

My first RBL polish (I ordered this and Clear Pink). While it took about 4 coats to get the opaque look (like the reviewer previously had posted) I was still blown away by the quality and application of the polish. I will definitely be ordering more RBL colors!
Also, I had thought this color would be more of a sky blue, but it has less of a white base that's needed for that kind of brightness factor. Still love it, it's unique and fun!

I'd never worn a blue polish before, but the pretty, retro, delicate color of Bikini Bottom had me trying it.
Truly a PERFECT, perfect polish. RBL formula makes me believe that I am actually good at painting my nails--and then I go back to OPI, which isn't a bad brand in itself (It just isn't RBL.) Applies a little streaky and has a jelly consistency, so I needed a full four coats to cover up the visible nail line--of course, it applies smooth as glass and as effortless as a dream.
I wore Bikini Bottom on my fingernails for six days before its non-chipping, little-tip-wear, looks-like-new polish scared me a little and I took it off. Also, I was dying to try the Recycle. Heheh.

I ordered Bikini Bottom to paint my toes for a 8-day vacation in Hawaii. This color looks great with both fair and tanned skin. It is fresh and, surprisingly, paired well with everything. Bikini Bottom + Chocolate Brown flip flops = AMAZING! Both vacationers and locals were complimenting on the color. BTW, I painted my nails before going on the trip and they never chipped or faded - hikes, water sports, sunbathing on the sand...the polish took a beating. My tootsies looked so good that I didn't have to change the polish until 4 days after I got back from the trip...so cool.

This has got to be one of my favorite nail polish colors of all times. i keep my finger nails short and sometimes polish can just make them look bad, but not this, it is so pretty. I wear it on my toes all the time as well, it is the perfect blue, and i love the name!!

I wear three coats of this on my nails and spend the next 2 weeks smiling every time I look at my hands. A gorgeous color that you can't get anywhere else.

I love Bikini Bottom on my toes with my silver sequin flip flops or with white or silver sandals. Looks great with a tan or not. I even wear it with my navy espadrilles. The girl who does my pedicures asked me where I bought it (so ofcourse I told her).
