I was very surprised by this polish. It reminds me of Benetint. It's just enough to give your nails a defined color while still being sheer. Because you can see your nail line, I think it gives a funky french look.

I think this is a lovely clear vibrant blush pink that is highly flattering. I am having trouble applying it though, as I seem to get streaks. I use Ji's basecoat, apply thin coats, and use a topcoat. Does anyone have a trick or advice for non streaky application?

My mistake I know for not reading the description more closely, but I still hated tossing an expensive polish out. Even my manicurist said "eww". Make sure you know it's going to be a sheer hot pink before you order.

Pink. That's just how red works. I love this color, because I can get a pop of color without it being a vibrant red. I'm with A, the description is genuinely spot on. Don't know why you'd expect otherwise.

It shouldn't bother anyone that it's called Sheer Red. A sheer red is essentially a rosy pink, as it says in the description.

Read the description please. It's entirely accurate. This polish is a stain - it's ridiculously sheer. It's also PINK. No matter how many coats you do, it will never resemble red. I'm glad the description mentions twice that this is pink, but I am bothered that the polish is called sheer RED. It's pink.
