I bought this color a number of months ago, and I just didn't get it at first -- streaky, tough to apply, and not all that great looking. I gave up on it for a while and wrote it off as a lost cause, but found it today while searching for a new color to wear. The funny thing is, it's NOT actually hard to apply - it's deceptively easy. Go for one or two big swipes, and you're in good shape. It will lay down nicely, and with far fewer streaks. I agree with the first reviewer -- even though it's apparently nail sacrilege: foregoing the base coat is easier (unless it's super super dry). I say if you use the base coat, use one of the polish plus your topcoat. Without the base coat, use two coats of polish plus your topcoat. At least, that's how I like it.
I'm loving this color now, and I'm kind of sad I wasn't wearing it all along. Now that I've got the application down, this has instantly become one of those bottles I know I'll use up quickly.

Whew...it took me a couple of days to figure out this polish, but it was worth it! Ji was very helpful with my issue of streaking. You RBL devotees know her polish is top notch, but this is one of those pale colors that is more difficult to apply, in my experience. Ji is right- if you fan the brush and try to apply as few strokes on the nail as possible, it makes for a smoother application. Also, as I was experimenting, I found (and I am sure this is not recommended!) that it goes on nicer for me without a basecoat. Go figure. 2 coats of this polish and one of top coat make for a clean, fresh look on the hands that compliments my skin tone and it's just perfect! I am glad I persevered with this one. Some of you no doubt are better at manicures than me, and I recommend this color as a lovely alternative to the darks of winter.
